The Quintessentially Questionable Query Experiment Revealed
The feedback I received from Matthew MacNish on his blog,
The Quintessentially Questionable Query Experiment, was on the money. I hadn’t
realized all the faults my query had accumulated after all the rewrites I’d subjected
it to. One of the big problems was that it was vague and cliché in certain parts. It’s
hard to whittle down a 450 page novel into 250 words.
On the positive side, it sounds like I’m on the right track.
O.O
I know, surprising, right? ;)
Matt has agreed to look at my revision and critique it on
his blog again. What a nice guy, eh? I’ll let you guys know when it’s up again.
Stella out!

Yeah, it makes you wonder if those queries even get read sometimes. But when I read "SlushPile Hell" it can seem pretty acurate. LOL!
It's great to have people who know nothing about the novel to read the query!
That reminds me, has your friend read your WIP yet?
